Hard Rubbish Pickup Day was created as work for the graduation show of RMIT University, ‘Close to 200/Where is everybody’. Hard rubbish objects were combined, drawing on their object qualities, form and colour to create a sculptural installation. This assemblage was suspended by ropes and pulleys. The work was also exhibited with a maquette version in the Link Artspace display box, via Swanston Street.
